- Aromas: Flamboyant notes of blackcurrant jelly, black raspberries, and wild blueberries, accented by licorice, red roses, black truffles, and spice cabinet scents.
- Palate: Full-bodied with "crunchy" black and blue fruit layers. highlight its "pixelated tannins" and a finish featuring saline minerality and cedarwood.
- Drinking Window: While drinkable now with a lengthy decant (3+ hours), critics suggest it will be best starting in 2027–2030 and can age for 30–40 years.

The tannins are super fine grained, giving lift and texture that will help it age well for a long time. Drinkable now, but best from 2030.
