Corazón Expresiones Weller C.Y.P.B. is an 80 proof (40% ABV) limited-release produced at NOM 1103 (Casa San Matías) in Jalisco, Mexico. This expression is a single-estate tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested from the Los Altos highlands. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional stone ovens for 48 hours and double-distilled in copper pot stills. Technical maturation for this release involves resting the spirit for at least nine months in barrels that previously held Weller "Craft Your Perfect Bourbon" (C.Y.P.B.).
This specific wood interaction with wheated bourbon casks imparts a technical profile defined by bright citrus, fresh mint, and vanilla bean on the nose, with a palate of cooked agave, butterscotch, and gentle oak followed by a clean, lingering finish of toasted wood and soft pepper.
