Clase Azul Joven Pink 2022 is an 80 proof (40% ABV) limited-release produced at NOM 1595 in Jesus Maria, Jalisco. This 100% Blue Weber Highland agave spirit is a Joven expression, created by blending unaged Plata with Reposado components. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional masonry ovens for 72 hours, tahona-milled, and naturally fermented before undergoing double distillation in copper pot stills.
Maturation for the aged portion of the blend occurs in used American whiskey casks, which imparts technical notes of toasted coconut, vanilla, and caramel. The final spirit is triple micro-filtered for clarity and bottled in a hand-painted ceramic decanter featuring butterfly and ribbon motifs. This 1-liter release supports breast cancer detection via the Grupo RETO foundation.
