Cascahuin Anada Special Edition is a Blanco Tequila from Tequila Cascahuin in El Arenal, Jalisco, Mexico. This 2025 single-year release is bottled at 92 proof, additive-free.
The Anada bottling is built around a single-year harvest from a specific year's agave harvest, captured with 100 percent tahona stone-wheel extraction rather than the roller mill that handles Cascahuin's standard line. The agaves are slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, fermented open-air with the bagasse fibers retained in the mosto, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. The intent is to preserve as much of the agave's fiber-driven texture and that particular year's terroir as the process will allow.
On the nose, it shows intense cooked agave, petrichor, and bright citrus zest. The palate brings sweet agave, citrus, earthy minerality, cracked black pepper, and herbal complexity, and the finish carries a robust, mineral close.
The fiber-on tahona extraction and 92-proof strength give Anada a heavier, more textured profile than Cascahuin's roller-mill Blancos. It drinks well neat or over a single large cube.
