Cascahuin Destino is a Blanco Tequila from Tequila Cascahuin in El Arenal, Jalisco, Mexico. This 2025 limited edition is a blend of six distinct Blanco lots bottled undiluted and unfiltered at 98 proof, additive-free.
Destino - "Destiny" - was created to celebrate 70 years of the second-generation Rosales family's stewardship at Cascahuin, with the label designed by artist Mauricio Lara to tell the visual story of the distillery's evolution across three generations. The blend pulls from six separate production paths using estate Blue Weber agave from Cerro del Cascahuin - some slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens, others cooked in underground pits, with extraction split between tahona stone wheel and roller mill, and natural fermentation in open-air wooden vats.
On the nose, it shows concentrated cooked agave with stone-pit smoke and mineral notes. The palate brings deep roasted agave, dry pepper spice, citrus zest, and a textured mineral backbone, and the finish carries a long, dry, savory close.
By blending six different production methods into one bottle, Destino reads as a survey of every traditional path the Rosales family still uses at NOM 1123. It drinks well neat or over a single large cube.
