G4 Reposado de Madera Dia de Muertos is the limited-edition seasonal release from G4 Tequila - the additive-free, Highland-distilled Reposado built by Master Distiller Felipe Camarena at Destileria El Pandillo (NOM 1579) in Los Altos, Jalisco. The 2024 Dia de Muertos edition starts life as G4 Blanco de Madera - fermented in wooden vats with agave fibers - then rests 7 months in used Jack Daniel's whiskey barrels (the same barrel stock made famous by G4's celebrated '55 Month' Extra Anejo release). Before bottling, the liquid is married with a small measure of Felipe Camarena's double-barreled 7-Year Extra Anejo Reserva Especial, then bottled at 84 proof / 42% ABV, additive-free, with a 100% Blue Weber agave mash.

G4 Tequila comes from Destileria El Pandillo (NOM 1579) in Jesus Maria, Los Altos, Jalisco - the Highland tequila distillery run by fourth-generation Master Distiller Felipe Camarena. The name G4 stands for Cuatro Generaciones, the four generations of Camarenas making tequila. Production is fully additive-free and rooted in traditional methods: 100% Highland Blue Weber agave slow-cooked roughly 22 hours in masonry brick ovens, crushed by a custom mechanical tahona Felipe nicknamed Felipestein, fermented with the family's own house yeast in a mix of stainless steel and pine wood vats using a 50/50 blend of captured Highland rainwater and natural mountain spring water, then double-distilled in small copper pot stills. El Pandillo runs on solar power and recaptured heat, widely cited as Mexico's most sustainable tequila distillery.

The Dia de Muertos release honors the Mexican Day of the Dead tradition with a hand-numbered limited run of approximately 5,000 bottles presented in a hand-crafted coffin box made in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco. Each coffin carries unique badge combinations, making the package as collectible as the liquid.

On the nose, it shows cooked agave layered with vanilla, caramel, and gentle Tennessee-whiskey oak from the Jack Daniel's barrels. The palate brings honeyed agave, soft toffee, and a touch of the Extra Anejo finish - dried fruit, dark chocolate, baking spice - and the finish carries a long, sweet-spiced close.
