Clase Azul Spirit of Champions is the brand's limited-edition Joven tequila released in April 2026 to honor the FIFA World Cup - the first World Cup in history to be co-hosted across three nations and Mexico's return to host duty. The Spirit of Champions release is bottled at 80 proof / 40% ABV with a 100% organic Highland Blue Weber agave mash. Production is capped at 10,000 hand-numbered 1-liter (here presented as 750ml) ceramic decanters worldwide.

Clase Azul Tequila is produced at Productos Finos de Agave (NOM 1416) in Jesus Maria, Los Altos de Jalisco - the Highland tequila region. Founded by Arturo Lomeli in 1997, Clase Azul is one of the most recognizable artisan tequila brands in the world, known as much for what's inside the bottle as for the bottle itself: each iconic hand-painted ceramic Clase Azul decanter is shaped, fired, and painted by hand by more than 100 artisans in the village of Santa Maria Canchesda, Mexico.

The Spirit of Champions blend was curated by Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco. The dominant component is a tequila aged 28 months in French wooden vats sourced from the Forest of Troncais - the same oak that supplies cooperage for some of France's most prestigious aging traditions - accented with a touch of specially crafted unaged tequila that keeps the agave's bright character front-of-palate.

The Spirit of Champions decanter is an elongated, ivory-white satin ceramic form with unglazed bands inserted for tactile contrast. Hand-painted golden ribbon accents trace the arc of a championship trophy's silhouette across the body. The iconic Clase Azul emblem is inlaid with polished green malachite - the same stone that rings the FIFA World Cup trophy itself - making the decanter a deliberate, material-level reference to the championship object that inspires the release.

On the nose, it shows smooth, aromatic floral notes and the warm sweetness of slow-cooked agave. The palate brings a balanced, refined interplay of bright agave character and subtle French-vat oak, and the finish carries a long, polished close.
