This complex, grain-to-glass expression is distilled from a sophisticated mash bill of 68% white corn, 15% rye, 13% wheat, and 4% malted barley. Maturation occurred for at least 3 years in new, charred American oak barrels within the distillery's Austin-based urban rickhouses.
The punishing Texas heat and significant diurnal temperature swings accelerated the wood interaction, creating a richly layered, high-viscosity spirit. Technical specs highlight a concentrated profile of warm buttercream and hazelnut biscotti, balanced by the soft texture of winter wheat and a lingering finish of cellar oak and lemongrass.
