This highly collectible bottling represents the "Fork In The Road" point—a specific maturation window where barrels achieve extraordinary complexity without becoming overly tannic. Utilizing an undisclosed high-quality American corn mash bill, the distillate undergoes two decades of maturation in fire-charred, new American white oak barrels within climate-controlled warehouses.
Maturation for 20 years has produced a sophisticated, dense profile featuring deep layers of black cherry, dark chocolate, and molasses. The extensive aging process, followed by Michter's signature filtration, results in a luxurious, viscous mouthfeel and a powerful, evolving finish defined by roasted pecans, pipe tobacco, and seasoned charred oak.
