Blood Oath Pact No. 9 is a 98.6 proof (49.3% ABV) bourbon blend finished in Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks from the Sherry Triangle region. Curated by Master Distiller John Rempe at Lux Row Distillers, this 2023 release features a technical blend of a 16-year ryed bourbon, a 12-year ryed bourbon, and a 7-year ryed bourbon.
The secondary maturation of the 7-year component introduces a sophisticated layer of dried fruitsâincluding figs, plums, and raisinsâcomplemented by toasted nuts and molasses. Bottled as a 750ml small-batch allocation, this expression represents a refined showcase of how dry Oloroso finishes interact with high-age stated Kentucky stocks.
