In collaboration with their associates at Blanton's, the brewery aged their Imperial Stout for 18 months in barrels sourced from one of the world's most coveted bourbons—Blanton's Original Single Barrel Bourbon. Drawn from the middle sections of the renowned Warehouse H, Blanton's Original Single Barrel was initially reserved for ambassadors, dignitaries, and friends of the Blanton family but is now accessible to all. Just as the brewery established the benchmark for barrel-aged stouts, Blanton's set the standard for single barrel bourbons. Through this partnership, they crafted a distinct reserve characterized by rich dark chocolate and oak notes, complemented by the warm aromatics of baking spices like clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
