The Blanco is bottled directly after distillation at 80 proof / 40% ABV with a 100% Blue Weber agave mash, finished in a hand-painted Skull tequila bottle decanter built around the Mexican Calavera (Day of the Dead sugar skull) tradition.
Dos Artes Tequila is produced at Casa Tres Mujeres (NOM 1466) in Jalisco, Mexico. The brand's name - which translates to "Two Arts" - is a deliberate tribute to its twin crafts: the tequila inside the bottle, and the iconic hand-painted ceramic skull decanter that houses it. Production is built on 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the rich volcanic soil of Jalisco, with cooking in autoclave (paired with traditional masonry ovens on certain expressions), roller-mill extraction, hybrid fermentation, and double distillation in copper alembic pot stills.
Every Dos Artes Skull bottle is shaped, fired, and individually hand-painted by Mexican artisans - no two ceramic skull decanters are exactly alike. Among collectors, the brand sits in a small group of tequila programs (alongside Clase Azul and KAH) that have made the bottle itself as collectible as the spirit inside.
