G4 Classico Reposado - also marketed as G4 Clasico "Throwback" Reposado - is the limited retro-label Reposado from G4 Tequila, the additive-free, Highland tequila built by Master Distiller Felipe Camarena at Destileria El Pandillo (NOM 1579) in Los Altos, Jalisco. The release is a 2,016-case run bottled at 80 proof / 40% ABV, additive-free, with a 100% Blue Weber agave mash. Felipe rested the tequila for 3 months split evenly between single-use American whiskey barrels and single-use sherry casks - a finishing approach he has publicly called G4's finest Reposado ever.

G4 Tequila comes from Destileria El Pandillo (NOM 1579) in Jesus Maria, Los Altos, Jalisco - the Highland tequila distillery run by fourth-generation Master Distiller Felipe Camarena. The name G4 stands for Cuatro Generaciones, the four generations of Camarenas making tequila. Production is fully additive-free and rooted in traditional methods: 100% Highland Blue Weber agave slow-cooked roughly 22 hours in masonry brick ovens, crushed by a custom mechanical tahona Felipe nicknamed Felipestein, fermented with the family's own house yeast in a mix of stainless steel and pine wood vats using a 50/50 blend of captured Highland rainwater and natural mountain spring water, then double-distilled in small copper pot stills. El Pandillo runs on solar power and recaptured heat, widely cited as Mexico's most sustainable tequila distillery.

The split-cask program is the heart of this release. The American whiskey barrels contribute the familiar vanilla, caramel, and baking-spice arc of a bourbon-aged Reposado; the sherry casks layer in dried-fruit sweetness, toasted almond, and a deeper oak spice that a standard Reposado does not carry. Married at bottling, the two halves give G4 Classico Reposado its layered character. The bottle wears a reproduction of G4's original 2012 front label - a direct visual tribute to the brand's launch year and the fourth-generation Camarena legacy.

On the nose, it shows roasted and cooked agave layered with toasted almond, vanilla, and dried cherry, with gentle oak spice from the sherry influence weaving through. The palate brings rich agave, soft caramel, dried fruit, and warm baking spice, and the finish carries a long, layered close with vanilla, almond, and lingering sherry-cask warmth.
